๐ Neighbourhood Policing Update ๐ Hereโs a snapshot of some of the work carried out by your local team: ๐ฎโโ๏ธ Officers assisted in the arrest of a male in connection with an incident in Barnard Castle. ๐ Two males have been arrested in relation to a number of burglaries in the area. ๐ Three vehicles were seized in Wolsingham โ one suspected to be stolen and the other two found to have no insurance. Thanks to Durham Special Constabulary for the assist in recovering one of these vehicles. ๐น Property reported stolen during a burglary has been successfully recovered. ๐จ Our Speed Watch volunteers have been active across the dale, completing 14 deployments. As a result, 28 warning letters have been issued to drivers exceeding the speed limit. ๐ฃ Foot patrols have also been carried out across the area. ๐๐ฎโโ๏ธ We also carried out a joint visit with the Fire Service, where local school children had the opportunity to see and learn about the emergency vehicles used by both services. ๐ปKeep in the know โ want to know what is happening in your local area.
